I know you don’t like to talk, but you gotta do it for her.
Yadriel & Maria appreciation post ✿◕‿◕✿
HE SAID MORE THAN HE DID ALL SEASON. I THOUGHT HE DIDN’T CARE. I THOUGHT HE WAS JUST BEING NICE AND LETTING HIS BABY MAMA SEE THE BABY THAT HE PROBABLY DIDN’T REALLY WANT AND BARELY LOOKED AFTER BUT I WAS FUCKING WRONG. I WAS WRONG ABOUT HIM. HE’S JUST QUIET. THE DUDE IS STOIC AS FUCK AND HE FUCKING LOVES MARIA AND HE LOVES THAT BABY AND IT’S FUCKING BEAUTIFUL THE WAY HE GUSHES AND TALKS TO HER LIKE MARIA ASKED HIM TO DO BECAUSE HE WANTS HER TO GROW UP SMART AND LOVED.
But also look at how cute the baby is dressed in each visit. Who did that? Daddy did. But that’s exactly the kind of visual cue that gets lost when he’s getting judged for his bald head, tattoos and stoic (thuggish?) demeanor.
this was actually really important to me because there are tons of reasons for a person being fairly non-verbal. i really liked the portrayal of this relationship because she knows he doesn’t like to talk and it’s not really portrayed as problem for her, it’s not a problem for their relationship, she accepts him for who he is. but she knows that babies need communication for development and he cares about his baby so much that he makes such an effort to do it even though it doesn’t come naturally to him. and it’s so natural in that last scene, it’s so clear he does it all the time and i just really liked this part.
I don’t know how we can justify telling women they can’t drink or do heavy drugs while pregnant. Their body, their choice, right? Who cares what happens to the clump of cells leeching off of them?
it’s pretty logical why,
if you are carrying a wanted pregnancy or a…
No one is passing laws to say women can’t drink or smoke during pregnancy, they’re simply advised not to. If they want to, they can. They still have the choice to do it, even if it is looked down upon.
So, by your logic, we should treat abortion the same way, right? Give women the choice even if we may not agree with it, or downright disdain it. Though, somehow, I don’t think that’s what you were going for. It may help to check the logic of your argument before you post.
Also, tight pants can contribute to a lowered sperm count, but I don’t see anyone running after hipster men about their potential kids.
I know that some of you pro choicers will show up to claim that you in fact DON’T blame little babies for all of the world’s problems but that doesn’t change the fact that you are still executing them!
The main pro choice argument is that foetuses cause literally all of the world’s problems.
Homophobia? Foetuses. Starving children in Africa? Foetuses? Gang crimes? Foetuses. Stuck mayo jars? Foetuses. Books with pages missing? Foetuses.
Literally everything can be traced back to foetuses. That’s exactly what pro Choicers believe. Thank you so much for making this meme about an argument that’s used constantly in debates.
I got my first abortion because of the Iraq war, and my second when they canceled Community. Now I’m thinking of getting my third over hearing that scrunchies are back, but I am wondering if I shouldn’t reserve that for when TGI Fridays eventually ends their unlimited appetizers for $10 deal.
I’ve updated my fic! Check it out, we are about halfway through the sequel. I’ve finished writing the sequel in it’s entirety, and am already working on the third, which will be the final fic. Over 170,000 words in this entire thing! Pretty proud, this is the most I have ever written, and it’s the first time I’ve seen anything like this through to completion.
I am getting mansplained to like crazy over on Facebook about whether or not Hobby Lobby is right and whether birth control is actually important. This guy is arguing that because condoms exist, women need to stop acting like hormonal birth control is important. He’s saying essentially that women’s only option for birth control should be making sure a MAN wears a condom. And he has no idea why I think he’s sexist.
